Z, Oh come on... we're so much safer over the last decade, even after the Bush administration's screwup, than we were at any time between the establishment of this country and the end of the Cold War. Islamic terrorism, though certainly violent, poses NO existential threat to our country.

Wait until there's a coordinated attack on several of our train stations.

Like I said before, a couple of idiots with a sniper rifle were able to keep the entire D.C. metropolitan area hostage. We're fortunate not to have any more terrorist attacks since 9/11, but that doesn't mean we should retreat into denial.
