International Assets Expands Metals Trading
International Assets Holding Corporation (Nasdaq:IAAC) (the "Company") today announced that it had recruited a base metals trading team to complement the existing precious metals trading business.
The Company has recruited Bill Silverstein, Tom Gramlich and Steve Springer who have all worked together for many years and have more than 80 years combined industry experience. They bring with them long-standing relationships with consumers, producers and traders and access to a strong presence in China, a key long-term market for base and precious metals. Initially focus will be on the physical lead business, a niche business the team has been involved in for many years, and thereafter other base metals.
Sean O'Connor, CEO of the Company said: "I have previously worked with both Bill and Tom and am delighted to have them on board. Together with Steve, they have a wealth of experience along with strong client relationships. This is a key step in growing and expanding our commodities activities."
Bill Silverstein said: "We all know each other very well and believe that INTL offers us a great platform to leverage our expertise and relationships into a much larger and dynamic business for the Company."
