Why is that important? When an enemy fails to follow the rules of engagement and your people are at risk you must adapt. Yes, if you are a minor player. Until recently, we have not been a minor player in the world. Do you care about terrorist more than our troops? No, but I care about how our guys are treated by the terrorists. Have you noticed that the beheadings have stopped? Why do you think that is? I think we're better than the terrorists........don't you? Sure doesn't sound like it - you want to tie one hand behind your back in an unfair fight. No. You all don't like rules because you don't maintain high standards. I understand the motivation but its not acceptable. Not to a majority of Americans; not to our allies; not to most of the world.
