Alcohol is more damaging than either.

That's hilarious.
Among the pro drug crowd, there is religion. A basic tenet of that religion is to compare marijuana and other drugs to alcohol, and claim alcohol is worse!

To anyone who enjoys a nice glass of wine, a couple of beers or a mellow Dewars on ice, the claim is absurd.

If the claim is alcohol in excess is bad, well then, the issue is excess, isn't it? Of course a single joint (or just a couple of pipe hits) is excess. There is no moderation when it comes to getting stoned. There is no moderation when sticking a needle full of smack into deep black arm veins.
And no moderation when placing a windowpane on your tongue or gobbling shrooms.

The alcohol comparison is a fallacy. But its just religion to the pro drug crowd.
