When this was tried, it was viciously and jeeringly attacked as "flip-flopping" by everyone in the administration, a lack of resolve, a lack of understanding, and an indication that anyone saying that was unfit to be a leader. The flip flopping that caught my eye and ear was kerry's changing his position on funding of the war during the runup to the election. My point was that those people I mentioned in the prior post stood tall in support of the war and its funding. In fact, they justified it with comments about WMD etc. Now, they are running from that by accusing Bush of lying. They had the same intelligence he had and have said so. Yet, now they claim it was a lie. They have conveniently forgotten about the statements they made on the WMD etc. issue before Bush ever left Texas for the Whitehouse. It would just be nice for them to be honest to their voting block. Yeah, I know. Dream on! LOL
