Privatization and deregulation have cost taxpayers an consumers hundreds of billions. It encourages monopologies, price-gouging and corrupotion.

There isn't a single case where this "privatize the public wealth and remove the rules" has worked. Just look at Halliburton in Iraq with its $150,000/year security guards and truckdrivers. Those jobs should have been filled by $25,000/year soldiers or $5,000/year Iraqis. Just a huge waste of money.

The problem is the corporate cronies of Bush-Cheney as well as Reagan-Bush are just too damn greedy. It's grand theft against the public wealth.
