Dissent is the highest form of patriotism That statement is moronic. If it is the highest form of patriotism I suppose those that gave their lives or put their lives on the line did a bit less than someone offering lip service. The act of dissent in itself is not patriotic, but must be weighed by it's intent, motivation and result. Anyone can dissent and the act of dissent on it's own is nothing. All the heroes of our nation could have done better just shooting off theirs mouths. That may work in your world, but not in the real world.
