I doubt it. The Bernake style "helicopter drop" of cash can be, and is, delivered in several forms. This allows the boys to manipulate any market unless something truely out of whack happens.

Newman (read earlier msg) is almost certainly right, but his historical data does not take into account the "new era" where money is printed with the USA sign on it to the nth degree. This is one of the reasons why we see the mania on the stock market. US dollars seeking an investment vehicle.

Gold and silver are natural targets. This is why I am interested in trading PAAS as well as owning it. We could see some volatile moves imho.

Before going more long I am waiting for severe down moves of course.
