I was responding to John's speculation that studies may have been done by consultants that would prompt store owners to follow some sort of trend that makes it un-pc to mention Christmas. If store owners drive away customers by allowing the word Christmas to be uttered by employees there is no doubt in my mind they would prohibit it immediately. Why else do they prohibit the word Christmas? Is it because some Muslim, Hindu or Jew complained so they decided it wasn't worth the hassle?
