Actually, let me make a minor expansion on my last post. As a matter of semantics, you could perhaps call stable disease a response, but you cannot call it an objective response, which would only apply to complete or partial responses. To his credit, Dr. Kelly trod the line without exactly crossing it by omitting the word "objective." For more on this, and the pitfalls of using stable disease -- especially over short timeframes -- as an indicator of efficacy, check out:
