I might be wrong but I wouldn't expect much bump in the polls for them.

This is not about the polls. It's about certain democrats who are whining that Bush lied to get us into the war and will not admit that they were just as convinced as Bush was, looked at the same intelligence data and reached their own conclusions when they voted to give the President the authority to act. It's about those same whining democrats failing to admit or unable to recognize that their behavior is detrimental to our troop performance. And finally, it's really about the 2006 elections. I haven't tabulated who is running in '06, but I'll bet it is most of these clowns. And, of course some are gearing up for the '08 effort.

Here is why they won't admit they made a mistake in endorsing the war and the Bush administration. Admitting a mistake will make them look incompetent - not a good thing when up for reelection. It is also much easier for them to "blame Bush" and makes for better sound bites on the telly.

If they really wanted the support of the majority in this country they would criticize the USA performance in the war. Attacking Bush for a decision which they, in fact, supported and spoke glowing about will not endure them to many, many voters.

I will assume that you and other posters will disagree with my views. Fine. That is what makes a horse race.
