So, if we are going to do that... why not just pass a Balanced Budget amendment, and be *done with* the problem of government over-spending?

Sounds simple enough but I'm not sure that it's realistic.

(Or, pass BOTH amendments at the same time?)

IMO this would be the more functional. I'm afraid just passing a BB amendment could force the Gov't into passing nothing at all.........
