Flight school was a rouse to make the cover seem reasonable. Perhaps these guys were on the flights, perhaps not. Fact is they couldn't fly a Cessna. How could they suddenly jump into the pilot seat of a 757? How could they make pin point hits? In the case of the Pentagon, how could they stand the vertical turn in excess of 1.5 G's?


I'm not a pilot, but I have friends who are and who I have flown with in a number of small planes. They let me fly once we are up. I've thus piloted gliders, and small single engine aircraft. It is not very difficult. 1.5G is quite modest BTW.
