Hi Christine, I feel that you expressed yourself very well on the drug issue. I agree with what you said. I would add that most drugs mimic the action of some chemical that the body already uses, such as with endorphins and morphine. It makes me wonder if drug addicts somehow find the substances that are out of kilter in their bodies, not necessarily to feel high, but to feel normal, sort of like a diabetic takes insulin to not feel out of whack.

I read your "guy" poem and I didn't get a response again. I am hopelessly flawed.
