There are many of us on SI who seem stupid to ignorant folks. We had said that Iraq, because of the culture in those parts of the world, would be headed to a civil war. And that day is drawing closer judging from the actions of the Congress and Senate.

Finally, the Senate is holding Bush accountable for his actions in Iraq. Do you call those Senators stupid, those very Senators who had voted for the war in the first place. Isn't that what Kerry told us in 2004.

Unfortunately Bush fails to see why not only Kerry, but the Senate first voted for the war and is now sending Bush a signal that they do not approve of the way Bush has conducted the war.

The only difference, Kerry was quick enough to understand his mistake. The others are realizing it now. No wonder people like JFK were decorated for their foresight and heroics in WWII and VietNam.
