Well, John found one poll. I don't know who was polled or where but a large majority (88%) of those polled support the use of the term "Merry Christmas." I know if I were an employee I'd be tempted to file a grievance if my employer prohibited my speech. I believe that there is a natural conundrum here. This decision has alienated thousands, if not millions, and they are offended and feel excluded.

I don't know why anyone made such a fuss in the first place. What is wrong with letting people say either one? It is the control over free speech that is offensive.......more offensive than having to bear hearing those two harmless words Merry Christmas.

This says allot about where you are coming from imo. How could Christians be so small and nasty in objecting. Just downright scurrilous and shameless. We should all take great comfort in knowing that the pc shops have taken the high ground.

I speculate that it never occurred to them that people who bill themselves as Christians could ever be so small and so nasty as to take offense at niceness and inclusiveness. But that has happened and they either don't know what to do with it or have decided that they are on safer ground sticking with niceness and inclusiveness.
