Sig, ya gotta look at the particular situation. HPQ on the rebound, big cost cutting, depressed stock, makes for a nice move. Dell, great company, (except for it's service <ggg>) sales up huge since 1999, but large share count, huge market cap, and still digesting those monster moves in the late 1990's. But then you have been around longer than I have, so I'm not telling you anything you probably haven't seen many times before! My favorite example is IBM, early 1990's just before Gerstner arrived, the stock hit a split adjusted 10 bucks a share. Over the next couple of years it was almost a 10 bagger as I recall.

Best regards and Happy Thanksgiving,
John
