Are your "bad" trades on NASDAQ ??
There is information on the net about the various "problems"
with NASDAQ. One of these references, I think, is at "stock detective" (shows up on one of the SI screens...) The "near"
conclusion to NASDAQ stuff is to *never* place a market order.
Also...if you are using different systems to gather quotes, there
could be discrepancy (to the best of my very limited knowledge) in
the price between the various computer systems in use; and then, of
course, is the fact that it most retail customers will never be able
to buy lower than ask nor sell higher than bid.
