Just do a search for it. You'll find it. And believe me, Jefferson was very-very much for strong, honest debate as a NECESSITY for a strong democracy. Dissent, debate and a strong truthful press willing to nail any lying politician is the cornerstone of a strong democracy.

The Bushies say they want democracy in the middle east. But without strong freedom of dissent and debate a democracy is not a democracy. So let's poll the Iraqisand troops. How many want the US to withdraw within 6-12 months?
I'll bet about 75% of both. And 75% of the American people.

Rove of course hates real democracy. His philosophy demonizes debates, dissent, critics and a strong press. This is one of the main reason the Bushies are so insidious. They also cheat in elections, help polluters and rob our public wealth for themselves.
