Some facts about bird flu:

Virus like cold, dry and temperate climates. Doesn't do well in hot, humid, tropical climate. See how it came across the Caucasus and turned west but it didn't come down to southwest Asia and Middle East.

Hot weather land has lots of predators that eat any migratory dead bird soon as it dies. This doesn't happen in cold climates.

The type of wild birds that are vectors to the virus need climatic conditions like lakes with cold water which are not available in the hot humid tropical zones.

The possibility is for the virus to mutate, and jump from people to people -which is not doing at the present- and infected people travel to the hot, humid tropical zones and infect people there.

Add to that sick birds being transported to the hot humid tropical climate countries.
