Of course they would not cease their attacks- I've no idea why you would ask me such a silly question. The AQ attacks and our involvement in Iraq were not related before the Iraq war. If you recall, 9/11 (and other attacks before that- most of them operations by Saudi nationals), happened before the Iraq war, hence AQ obviously will attack us no matter what. That they will attack us no matter what, does NOT mean the Iraq war was a good idea. They are two separate issues, and the fact that you choose to conflate them is unfortunate, imo.

I am not saying that only republicans make vicious attacks, and I have no idea how you would have gotten that from my posts on a VERY specific issue- so I would appreciate your not putting that in quotes, since I didn't say that or anything like it. It's bizarre that you would get that from my post. It's SO bizarre, I have to wonder why you need to make up things that I've not said, but you say I might be saying, to argue with me about what I did not (in fact) say, and do not believe. Don't you find that a waste of time? I certainly do.
