No, Sam Johnson lied. POW's come home when the war ends. He made it sound like he'd have been safer if the Vietnam War kept going. That's the opposite of true. for instance, when Kerry was fighting to end the Vietnam War, one of his top concerns was to bring the POW's home ASAP. Johnson spits on that and makes the argument that as a POW he was fine just so long as we kept fighting. Ridiculous logic.
