I basically agree with your statements, Duke, but in regards to this: "Second, the CPQ people were not especially happy with the merger. Pick any date before the merger announcement was made and the CPQ thread had a LOT of people posting. Randomly picking two pre-merger announcement dates, here's one in March 2000: Subject 2352 And a day in May of 1998: Subject 2352 Third, the dot com bomb in general blew out a lot or regular people and lost them a lot of money, which perforce made them less desirous of posting anywhere. Very, very true. There are people I gave favorite marks for who have not posted in a few years. A few I have checked do continue to make postings here, but on non-stock threads.
