The Murtha proposal for immediate withdrawal from Iraq was defeated 403 to 3 last night. I'm getting really sick of the repetition of this distortion. (Reminds me a bit about the fuss over the "imminent" threat from Iraq.) A cut and run proposal was defeated, not a withdrawal of the occupation forces proposal. I do not favor a withdrawal, but I'd like to see a serious discussion of it rather than these Koolaid wars.
