Ted, In a democracy, when a leader loses respect, that leader loses the ability to lead.

In Washington state, your new governor didn't exactly win a "mandate." Is she going to wait for one before leading? I wouldn't expect that out of her.

Of course not......you've heard of the honeymoon period that every politician is given to prove their worth. Arnold had an extended one and he still managed to blow it out his butt.

In the meantime, Gregoire got through hers with high grades and now commands considerable respect......that's why her very controversial $.09 gas tax hike was approved by the voters with flying colors. Arnold could learn a lot by paying attention to how Gregoire operates.
