The left really thinks "Merry Christmas" is the pushing of religion on them. All of this PC white washing of tradition for fear of offending someone's poor little sensibilities is totally stupid, IMO. Although I am a completely non religious, non believer (prefer that term over atheist or agnostic), I've always thoroughly enjoyed Christmas and hate to see it attacked, indeed, the dummies who are doing so risk engendering a well deserved backlash. Back in the late 60's, I was a member of my (public) high school choir and we performed such pieces as "Worthy is the Lamb" and the "Hallelujah Chorus" from Handel's Messiah. Wonderful stirring music that I'm sure has been outlawed in public schools today. :-(
