I see on CNN German soldiers on the march through the night carrying flames on sticks in their Nazi-looking uniforms. They are celebrating their elections or something.
Gosh, it looks like a movie set for a Nazi Nuremberg rally.
What appeals to the teutonic psyche is obviously etched deep.
It's ironic that Holocaust Denial is an official crime. Freedom of speech is NOT something they countenance. Shades of the Nazis. Right now, David Irving, Holocaust Denier in Chief is in prison in Austria, homeland of Hitler, awaiting extradition or release.
As far as I know, all he did was question the numbers of people exterminated in the concentration camps. Hardly a criminal matter I'd have thought. I question the numbers too. Politicians and others usually like to make up big numbers to exaggerate their cause and story.
Look at the Palestinians reporting on civilian genocide by Israel in Jenin for example. It turned out there were maybe 2 innocent people killed, by mistake. Or maybe it was one or none. Even the tv and other images showing the awful destruction focused on a narrow little section of Jenin where the core of the conflict took place. The rest of it was untouched.
When one sacks a city and kills everyone, it's a LOT different from that. There was no genocide.
If Islamic Jihad got on top, we'd find out what real genocide is like as they carried out their threats to Jews and Israel. Same as we would find out if Iran gets hold of nuclear bombs.
Just as everyone should have believed Adolf when he was stating what he thought, we should believe Iranian and other Islamic Jihad when they say what they believe and intend to do. Read the Koran to see what they will do. It is not good reading for infidels, apostates, women, homosexuals and anyone else who doesn't fit into their narrow perspective on what human life is to be like and who won't fit into their rows of sardines kneeling to Mecca 5 times a day. It will be great news for paedophiles though, with marriage to 9 year olds good to go.
Reading the gory Bible isn't good either, but fortunately, that is no longer the driving force for free societies. Or we'd be back in the dark ages, conducting heresy trials, inquisitions, burnings at the stake, exorcisms, witch-hunts .... much like the Taleban.
Oh, wait. We are having a heresy trial. David Irving is the heretic.
