Nobody has ever dissed the troops, least of all Murtha.
Although Bush has sent them into harm's way ill-prepared without a smart plan. Bush also said "Bring it on!" and allowed Abu Graiab both of which escalated the violence against our troops and got many killed.

In case you hadn't noticed, the Dems two top spokesmen on Iraq now are two war heros who have worked all their lives to help vets, Murtha the conservative and Kerry the centrist progressive. Both are untouchable when it coems to charges about caring about the troops.

If the rightwing cares about the troops so much why don't they bring them home? Most of the troops would love to come home. And they're not stupid. They know Bush has blundered mightily.
