Ted, Arnold could learn a lot by paying attention to how Gregoire operates. The big problem Arnold is facing is the unions. They've been promised a lot under Davis, and Arnold tried to keep some of those promises, but couldn't. So when it came time to take on the unions, the unions fought back hard with very negative, dishonest commercials, and Arnold really didn't fight back. Now it seems Arnold is a lot more concilliatory when it comes to dealing with the unions and the legislature. Oh well, I'm hearing reports that higher than expected tax revenues will help alleviate some of the budget problems, so maybe everyone will come off smelling like a rose in the end. Tenchusatsu
