Pierre, I was going to explain to you the nature of inside information (following your comment to Neil) but I see that David Pace has already done it. But surely you knew better anyway. Why would you have said such a silly thing?
As for your evidently contentless conversation in October of 1995 with Bill Rellar, why did you mention it? Of course everyone "looks forward to numerous sources…," (though that wasn’t a quote from him, it was just a "he would also be the first to tell you" remark of yours.) But the Rellar comment in Printing Impressions, in August of 1996, goes like this, "…He’s confident that the new front end can support more printing, stating that the Presstek PEARLdry plate is already BASICALLY PERFECT (emphasis mine) and that quality plate-making has been now made simple."
Neil’s long, informative posting on Presstek a "rambling diatribe?" You wish.
I think that reporting as bearish data the fact that Presstek’s annual report supplied an omitted name with an addendum sticker is scraping the bottom of the barrel, Pierre.
I wish you’d tell us whom you’re working for. There’s no disgrace in lobbying, and it would be interesting to know, just out of curiosity, who employs you to post stuff like that. |
