Actually a lot of Iraqis died from a decade of sanctions -- probably more than have died from the war to date.

That is why I consider the Clinton regime almost as responsible as Bush for the disaster that Iraq has become and the nightmare that its citizens must contend with every single day.

Iraq not long ago had the highest standard of living in the Arab world. Now the vast majority of its surviving citizens have been reduced to third world poverty and unemployment -- thanks to the USA.

This is one of the great crimes of history IMHO.
