It's not what I want that matters. The society is set up based on rules, and the rules are decided by the majority.
Radical feminists are not the majority.
And society has already made plenty plenty of rules about what I can and cannot do with my penis. I cannot expose it on the street in the middle of the day. I cannot stick it in a goat in plenty of states (I think, not really sure, no plan to find out). I cannot show it on public television. I cannot cut it off and feed it to diners at McDonalds.

You're obssessed with the religious right (which, I remind you, is just outside your door, right now). I'm just talking about democracy. If the majority votes abortion, euthenasia, not wearing your seatbelt and necrophelia should be illegal, then they should be illegal. The citizens who feel otherwise can campaign for politicians who want to make them legal, go to a state where they are legal, leave the country, or break the law. |
