Angles on the death penalty. There is the idea of the death penalty and the system or process by which it is decided to be applied. I have no problem with the idea. I am not totally happy with the process for it's application. For the application of the death penalty, I would prefer far more stringent requirements for certain guilt. Circumstancial evidence only may or is problematic.

On any issus there is the very idea and then how we carry out the idea.

What is congruent is the idea it is wrong to take any innocent life. Even a child created in process by rape or incest is innocent of all crime. Exceptions for abortions as described seems incongruent thinking.
