There is a perception that USA and Israel are joined by the hip. There is certainly a basis for such a perception since on many occasions the US was the lone supporting vote in US Security Council votes involving Israel. The US needs to start joining the other 4 permanent members of the Security Council when it comes to such votes in the future. The US does so with other allies such as Pakistan etc. Then why not Israel also.

Hope I explained what I meant by Israel should fend for themselves.
