That's probably why Samsung "tanked"; looks like SNDK is getting "sacked" very hard.
I don't even know whether Intel/Micron has 300 mm capabilty for flash (they probably have 200mm but not sure about 300 and the larger wafer size should provide cost advantage) and with regards to high density/300mm Samsung and Toshiba/SNDK are holding the lead.
(But sooner or later Intel had to make a decision what to do in regards to flash)
