ElM, you are right that most of the heat comes from the sun, but Earth is VERY hot inside and that heat comes out and has to be disposed of.

You have ignored reflectivity and insulation.

If Earth is white with snow and cloud, then much of the sun's heat is reflected back out.

If CO2 is thick, the heat comes in and doesn't get out.

Mucking about with the axis of Earth won't change the incident sunlight, just the distribution.

By producing lots of CO2, we can keep the place warm and avoid snow and cloud reflection. But we have to be careful we don't create lots of desert, because that's reflective and green is absorbing. Too much desert = ice age too.
