Not only can we win with these tactics, we will. Killing the terrorists and taking the fight to them WHEREVER THEY ARE is the only sensable way after the NUMEROUS attacks they made against us that chased us away. The dems think that since terrorists want us out of the country we kicked Saddam out of we should just agree with the terrorists. Absolutely insane. Don't see how any level headed person who wanted victory for our side could disagree.

That said, we haven't done everything perfectly. But the overall strategy to kick Saddam out of power and establish a democracy in the middle east is a sound one. Certainly the terrorists recognize our goals and are fighting to the death to prevent it. And to their death is where they will go.

Of course it is easier to not fight the terrorists in a war on terrorism, but nobody said this would be easy (despite demo claims that Bush has said it would be). And sitting around the next 20 years trying to talk France into helping us for won't get the job done. There would be another 9-11 in the mean time, and a good chance they would never, ever, ever agree to help a country they despise so much. The United States of America.
