I think he was investigating white water, or whatever it was called. The thing that Clinton lied about was in reference to a law suit that Paula Jones had filed (and consequently won). Clinton's lie was to protect himself from charge brought by a citizen of the U.S. I am sure you don't think she should have that right (unless the accused was a repub).

The long and the short of it is these cases are different. It is a "gotcha" for what you talk about imo. But the two events are quite different.

And the CIA reported that his trip BOLSTERED their view that there may have been an attemp. Wilson LIED to dishonor our CinC.

"When Wilson had the balls to call the administration on that lie,"

It was Wilson that lied. This has been confirmed. The British stand by the report that Bush sited. Whether Wilson's wife would have sent him to party in Nigeria or not. Again, his report (not the dishonest article he wrote) STRENGTHENED the belief by the CIA that such an event was possible.

So say what you will. If you will not be honest in your assumptions, surely you can't expect to get honest results from your "argument".
