I see no reason that any corporation could not buy Dell computers at a volume discount and do what they want with
them. Probably always could.

I would expect a big difference existed in how Dell would support the stores. That is in advertizing and taking back unsold merchandize and guaranteeing the store a specific profit.

No reason I can see that the store could not ask more for the same system as Dell on-line, especially when Dell now adds $99 shipping charge.
