To Tito and my other friends,

Everyone agrees AMAT is a sound company, but if the market crashes it will go down with the rest of the market.

Markets don't crash when interest rates are low, unemployment is low, inflation is low and corporate earnings are reasonable.

So it appears there will be no crash in the near future. Corrections, yes, but they only create buying opportunities.

The benefit of the split is that AMAT will be available to mmore people who don't buy odd lots. Nothing has changed for AMAT but its availability. It was good before the split, it will be good after the split.

I predict that the split stock will be 60 by December 15.
