Randall_ Bollingers are just standard deviations of moving averages. You can play with them a bit by expanding the standard > 2% (which is the common value used in most formulas), until it matches the greatest selloffs on your chart.

You can also substitute the close price with the "low of the day" price, then perhaps use that as your target entry price, as it would be a Bollinger having low bands. (hopefully Friday was it) Then run a Bollinger with "high price of day" and use that as a target exit price.

Bollingers have no magic other than that they give you a sense of the elasticity of a stock's (intra # of days) trading range. You need to look very hard at a stocks current situation to determin if its going to continue with the current pattern or if what you're seeing is an anomoly.
