and saddam got his army by taking men out of the towns and tell them if they didn't serve their families would be killed. plus i believe he hardly feed them. i assume they may not have received much training either. put a rifle in their hands post them on a border etc.

i expect bush will start pulling troops out or announce pull out before next years elections. I only hope he is can do it because our troops can handle the draw down and not for politics and put them in a bad situation over there. I would rather see senators and reps lose in the election vs put troops at higher risk.
