Our VFW games go like this....
130 players give or take, 13 tables of 10.
$60 buy in...26 places pay out, open to the public.
No limit Texas Hold Em...Smoking allowed...Drinking allowed...
21 yrs min, any sex, no pets, no non-players or visitors, 7 or 8 heavies always monitor the activity, 1 head organizer rules the floor .....
each player get $15000 in chips...
Blinds start at 50/100 and double themselves every 30 min.
we start promptly at 5PM...break at 8PM...get rid of all the small denomination chips and indulge in free food...
we constantly consolidate the tables to try to maintain 10 players per table...
We quit at Midnight ...chipleader wins first and so on, although it is always over before midnight because of the bigger blinds forcing the tights to play.
1st=$2600 -2000, 2nd=$1600-1200,3rd= $500, bunch of $100s and $50s for all the rest....
It is great fun, challenge and always interesting...
