We did win every straight up military fight in Vietnam, and I'm sure we have and will in Iraq too. Our military is superb - the best in the world at fighting other militaries. The only countries that are based on militaries are military dictatorships, like Saddam's. We lost the hearts and minds there, and lost the war - just as we're doing in Iraq. That's why the leaders of Iraq just voted for us to submit a troop withdrawal timetable. They want a CHANCE at building a country, and our being there works against that now.
