Thanks Andy. I tried your suggestion and it definitely had an effect on the results since I had zero candidates fall out of the scan. I viewed each of the charts in my list separately and saw that GA, SIMS and WAVO should have fallen out. I'm a bit disappointed to find out there's a problem with ema's since I am trying to learn some basics using ema's and MACD (which is based on ema's). It sounds like the problem was discussed on this thread in the past but I haven't gone back through all the notes (I'm still getting caught up on the beginner's thread). Was Gary L. participating in this thread when the ema problem was discussed? If not, do you think it would be best to direct a question to him? Thanks, Jim
