From NumberSix on the FOOL... My son (he's 12, in middle school) has gotten an offer in the mail for an MBNA credit card with a credit line as high as $100,000. He has not been pre-approved but is invited to call the 1-800 number for a quick approval. I'm actually gonna have him make the call and try to get a credit card. See how far he can get in the process. How did they even find him, given that he never worked in his life and has no credit history?
