Ken, you of course are welcome to your own opinion of ChinsuSFO. By my own rights I can choose to hold my own. There are few issues where I believe that my way is the only way. I'm sure to some posters here that means I'm wishy washy beyond belief, if you look back on some of my posts you would find that wrong thinking. Of one thing I am certain though, intolerance is wrong, only breeds bigotry, prejudice, hate and is a road block to knowledge, learning and progress.

Our own posting history is a clear example of that. What started out as open communication between haqi and I where we were building a bridge of understanding:

Message 21877122

Message 21877735

That led to admitting an error in my thinking and perhaps improving myself and where we both felt good. Indeed, since haqi made me rethink logically about God, I've modified and changed my way of thinking:

You however selected a different path and chose to slam a door in my face with hate filled invective only convincing me more of my original thoughts about religion. In the end I understood less about you than before and the entire exchange only entrenched me more into my view that religion is bad:

You've gotten one thing about me correct, I'm verbose. I'm a poor writer due to my lack of practise. I've no degrees only certifications.

Getting back to the subject of your post. What Chinsu had posted previous to our exchange I didn't feel was relevant.
It did make me wary being that it's been posted before that he's/she's been less than truthful on purpose to suit the argument.

That poster is a throwaway. A piece of human waste that America doesn't bother to sweep up and send home...

I'm a firm believer that intolerance breeds intolerance. With out a doubt, because Chinsu's beliefs are less than popular with many and he's been attacked vehemently for them it's caused him to respond in bad ways. Frustration and anger can invoke all sorts of inane responses........

Since I've started the Iraq debate with Chinsu, I've noticed that he's been civil and patient, leading me to believe that I'm not just wasting my time in the exchange. I've tried to return in kind hopefully giving him the same feeling. We've both tried to cut the emotion and knee jerk responses from the debate thereby making more progress in our exchange than all the name calling one liners could possibly do. Even if I excepted your belief that Chinsu was as your last post indicated I might point out that even a broken clock is right twice a day.

I did notice one thing through our debate. I could be very mistaken but I had the feeling that our debate had more than the usual number of lurkers. I also thought it unusual that no one was joining us....... Could be that the entire exchange bored everyone to tears, but I don't think so......
