LOL, you don't a clue about who I have talked to. I have talked repeatedly with someone who was a captain in the army encamped just outside Baghdad for just over a year, where they got mortars lobbed into their camp on an almost nightly basis. They were not welcomed as liberators. One day someone one smile at them as they walked passed, the next day the same folks would pelt their vehicles with rocks. He saw no signs that the insurgents "were in their last throes," as laugably suggested by deferment boy. They were getting attacked more, not less frequently, when he left than when he arrived. He thinks that their will be civil war, and probably sooner rather than later.
