Solon, those rose-colored liberal shades you are wearing are blinding you to reality. Your proposed solution WON'T WORK. At least not in the forseeable future. I know you want a solution. Every decent person does. That doesn't mean it's available. Britain and France had the legal right multiple times to stop Hitler- -and did nothing. They were afraid of war. As long as a bully can intimidate the gov'ts of good countries, YOU'VE GOT A PROBLEM! You had best face up it to it. It may come down to one or two or a small number of nations that refuse to be intimidated that stop these matters. You WON'T get it out of the UN. Frankly, I think the US should withdraw and tell it to get off our soil. We were one of its authors, but it has failed MISERABLY. Time to give it up. At best, we might get a small number of nations- -part of the NATO membership, maybe- -that can form an organization to do what you want. Or it may depend on just one nation.
