Actually we did. The very reason for the 2 years delay until they could finally launch the tete offensive was that they had to re build the Hoh Chi Minh trail down West of Vietnam in the neighboring countries. It was wiped out, big bomb craters, no bridges, no foil protection. The US intelligence was able to follow the re construction piece by piece as it progressed, reported this as it advanced with no action taken from the US side against the obvious violation of the peace treaty. Until it finally connected down South - and the rest is history as they say. Taro
